The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme connects LGBTIQA+ younger people (aged 18+) to LGBTI+ older people for regular visits in residential aged care or in their homes.
Anyone who receives government-subsidised residential aged care or Home Care packages (including people approved or on the waiting list for residential or home care packages) can request a visitor for increased social connection.
People can self refer themselves to the service by contacting us using the button below or through email on acvvs@grai.org.au
