Welcome to GRAI’s Queer BookClub πŸ“šπŸ¦„πŸ˜ŠπŸ³β€πŸŒˆ

If you identify as LGBTIQA+ or an ally, live in WA and love books (especially those with Queer themes or authors) then this is the place for you.

The Queer BookClub is a monthly intergenerational gathering for LGBTIQA+ individuals across the greater Perth metropolitan area and regional centres.

We meet on the last Wednesday of the month from 6 – 7:30pm at Connect Vic Park – 5 Mackie St, Victoria Park.

The Queer Book Club embraces social inclusion, by providing an opportunity for LGBTIQA+ individuals of all ages and their allies to come together and feel a part of a community, to feel loved, connected and to know they are not alone.

As a group we aim to connect the LGBTIQA+ community of Perth within a safe, supportive environment. You are all welcome to join in the conversations, discussions, events and much more that happen within this group!

Each month we will gather to discuss the Queer BookClub book of month. Along the way, please feel free to share any book that you are reading with a Queer theme/author or any book related activities that you are participating in, that you are writing, that you’ve seen or even that you just hear about.

Throughout 2021 the Queer Book Club will support the wellbeing of its older participants and actively address the various barriers faced by them to ensure they have full access to participation.
